Nicole Vater
Salon NV Owner and Hair Stylist | Call/Text: (603) 231-9291Nicole brings 16 years of experience and a huge passion for hairstyling and helping people shine. Her earliest memories were of playing with her friends’ hair, make-up and nails. She particularly enjoys the challenge of creating custom looks for clients. “I love it when a client brings in three or four photographs of styles they like. I take aspects from the photos and customize a look that fits the shape of the client’s face, their hair texture, etc. The result is a look and style that is a great fit and uniquely their own.” She also relishes the variety that each day brings and especially enjoys connecting with people. “Honestly, it’s like hanging out and chatting with friends throughout the day. I seriously have the best job.” A desire to add greater stability to her life and her fellow hairstylists is what drove her to start her own business with Salon NV. “I wanted to create a safe place where we can create and grow freely.”

Sarah Allen
Independent Hairstylist | Call/Text (978) 397-0886Sarah Allen brings a love of creativity and 18 years experience to hairstyling. Her formative years were spent an Aveda salon, where they were intensely dedicated to providing regular training in the latest color and cutting trends. One of the highlights of her career was attending the Vidal Sassoon Academy in England. Her passion for creativity, color and hairstyling go hand in hand. She says, “I love that there are always new looks, new colors and new styles. It keeps things interesting. And, it keeps my skills fresh.” She now uses only eco-friendly All Nutrient organic hair coloring products. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys pottery and making functional pieces such as mugs, vases and dishes.

Jessica Richards
Independent Hairstylist | Call/Text (978) 420-6903Jessica Richards followed in her aunt’s footsteps and has been a hairstylist for 18 years. She loves the freedom of maintaining her own schedule and the creative challenge of helping her clients achieve fresh new styles and color. She is particularly mad about color! And, at least once a year, she attends workshops to learn the latest hair coloring trends. What fascinates Jessica is the blend of creativity and science that goes into hair coloring decisions. For example, she says, “Knowing where to put the color foils isn’t just an artistic choice, there’s a science to their placement that is based on the shape of client’s face, the texture of their hair, whether their hair is curly, wavy or straight, how we want the regrowth to appear, and there’s a bit of geometry involved in how we want the color itself to fall.” In her free time, Jessica loves live music and concerts and spending time outdoors. When the weather cools, she binge watches Netflix shows, movies and documentaries. Whether indoors or out, her dogs are her cherished companions.
